Spillage decking protects larger areas from the ingress of hazardous liquids into the groundwater. Steel spillage decking serves as a surface protection system. Here too, depending on the material to be stored, a steel or a plastic floor tray is selected. These floor elements (also known as flat trays) are ideal for safely lining entire rooms thanks to a wide range of accessories, from edge fixings to access ramps. The floor protection trays are also used in empties warehouses or as splash and leakage protection when transferring or handling water-polluting substances in accordance with legal regulations. Depending on the spatial requirements, individual segments can be combined to form a complete system with optimum operational customisation . A particular advantage compared to conventional spill pallets, which are higher and cannot be driven or walked on, is the low height of our spillage decking. This means that they are not only accessible, but can also be easily driven over with pallet trucks, drum trolleys, forklifts or electric ants. This makes it particularly easy, quick and efficient to load the collection system and facilitates access to the stored containers in day-to-day operations. The high load capacity of the system is ensured by intelligent weight distribution to many evenly distributed points.
Large-area leakage protection and easy cleaning
When driving on the floor elements or during filling and transfer activities, they provide comprehensive splash protection. Spillages are collected over a large area, which not only increases safety but also ensures that the work area remains clean. In the event of a spill, the modularity of the system offers reliable protection: each individual spill pallet is completely closed so that liquids cannot spill from one element into another. DENIOS manufactures steel spillage decking for the storage of flammable liquids and substances of all water hazard classes.The spill pallets are made of galvanised steel with removable hot-dip galvanised grids.
Spillage decking is also used in emptying bays as splash and leakage protection when transferring or handling water-polluting substances in accordance with legal regulations. They serve to protect groundwater and soil and are therefore an integral part of environmentally friendly storage. Depending on the spatial requirements, they can be combined to form a complete system with optimum operational customisation.
Plastic spillage decking
DENIOS plastic spillage decking is used wherever high resistance to acids, alkalis and oils must be guaranteed when filling and transferring liquids. Plastic spillage decking is characterised by its particularly low design. By combining several elements, it is also possible to seal larger areas without any problems. An element consists of a double-walled spill pallet made of polyethylene (PE) and is available with a galvanised grid or a grid made of PE .
